That’s just a snapshot, which is why I’d be curious to see the data. Where are those players then? They must be single players. The reason I suspect this is because as of right now, there are 640 subscribers to my map, and there are only 8-10 servers in the list active that have the map, none of which are gigantic populations. I really wish we had the total breakdown from FLS because I suspect single player is a HUGE component of the player base that is largely silent. I actually don’t believe the majority of players like crowded public servers. I logged in, saw spammed Ymir altars, logged off, played co-op with a buddy for one evening, then rented a server the next day. This exactly describes my 5 min experience with funcom servers my first day on ps4, and that had nothing to do with server performance (wasn’t on it long enough to notice). And they were pristine back then compared to now. I didn’t have patience for the garbage they were six years ago. I’m predicting limited uptime.īut like I said before, you all have way way more patience than I do. Anyone here want to explain why they think its ‘different’ this time around? There has been hundreds of forum posters just like some in this thread in that time explaining in detail over several thousand posts why FC should improve their servers. But after six years, the track record shows it will only get worse instead of better. Have you ever thought of joining the priesthood? Your faith is far more than mine for sure.Ĭall me cynical. They are supposed to be the pinnacle of how the game’s system and function should behave and not the ugly step child that lives in the basement) Truth be told, that mentality had probably far more effect on the relative stagnated player numbers than anything else. They need to take some of the revenue and invest more into the servers to ensure it runs in their condoned and approved servers (Because that is what officials are.
