After a bringing a successful event in 2013, visited by over 120,000 people from around Australia, Santa’s Magical Kingdom will return in 2014, at a new location, Caulfield Racecourse. Santa’s Magical Kingdom, in collaboration with Santa Claus North Pole Co-operation have signed an exclusive deal to once again bring all the magic of Christmas to Melbourne in 2014, at a new home, Caulfield Racecourse. If you haven’t been along, here is a run down… From the rides, to the gingerbread baking, falling snow and wonderful circus show, it was just a great day out for the family. We were lucky enough to go last year, and even though Ella was only one, she just loved it. Living in the Southern Hemisphere, we spend our Christmas in the peak of summer, and one of the best experiences is the chance for your kids to experience a winter wonderland, complete with falling snow. As a lover of all things Christmas, this experience is just simply wonderful, and brings all the things you love about Christmas to under one roof. *Please note under 2’s can attend free of charge with a paying child but will not receive treats or be able to use the VR sleigh ride headsets.Unless you’ve been hiding underneath a rock somewhere, you would know that Santa’s Magical Kingdom is again coming to Melbourne this November. Therefore, the small treats will not be full sized presents as you would expect from a traditional grotto visit.įor the best virtual reality experience a headset must be worn whilst on the sleigh. The emphasis of Santa’s Christmas Journey is the walk-through experience and interactive activities. A small donation of £2 from each child’s ticket will be given to one of the following local charities Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Derian House Children’s Hospice, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, Child Action North West and Lancashire Mind. You’ll receive a digital photograph with Santa and then enjoy a test flight on his virtual reality sleigh. There will be an opportunity to meet Santa, receive a small treat off him as well as collecting treats throughout the journey. Tickets include a 20 minute walk-through experience where you’ll be guided by professional entertainers and take part in interactive activities provided by Pop Up Entertainment.
